We believe compelling and effective community-focused K-12 design is dependent on our ability to capture, reflect, and celebrate diverse voices and experiences. BRIC Architecture seeks licensed architects and emerging professionals who are ARE-eligible to join us as we partner with clients and communities to design places that welcome, engage, and support generations of learners.

Candidates will contribute to the ideas that underpin our practice and will be responsible for advancing architectural concepts and design solutions through the development of details and other drawings, preparation and coordination of construction documents, consultant team coordination, and construction administration.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following:

• Keen design, technical, and communication skills combined with the ability to develop and evaluate solutions in pursuit of both design and technical objectives.

• Ability to complete assignments independently and in partnership with project and firm leadership, offering insights and advancing the firm’s thinking.

• Comfort and capacity to deal with uncertainty, and a sincere desire to collaboratively develop design solutions that are informed by diverse perspectives.

• Passion for growth and capacity to develop skills and approaches that address a wide array of complex design problems.

• Care and investment in mentorship and in cultivating a culture of support.

Additionally, applicants should possess a degree in Architecture and should be proficient in Revit, SketchUp or other 3D modeling software, and collaboration and virtual meeting tools such as Miro and Microsoft Teams. Fluency with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus.

Candidates should send a cover letter, resume/CV, and representative samples of work showing design, technical and/or documentation skills. Material may be sent via PDF attachment but should not exceed 15MB in size. A link to a website showcasing a candidate’s work should be supplementary to the PDF attachment. When presenting collaborative work, please indicate your role(s) and contributions. Material should be emailed to: careers@bric-arch.com.
