Compelling and effective K-12 design begins by sincerely engaging both pragmatic and aspirational drivers. We believe transformational solutions result from our ability to capture, reflect, and celebrate diverse voices and experience. BRIC Architecture seeks emerging and experienced designers to join us as we partner with clients and communities to design places that welcome, engage, and support generations of learners.

Ideal candidates will have the ability to apply their unique perspectives in support of common goals, will contribute to the ideas that underpin our practice, and are motivated to empower learners to change the world through innovative design.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following:

• Ability to formulate, develop, and communicate big ideas in ways that allow others to engage and rally around those ideas.

• Eagerness to learn from others about their experiences, along with a sense of how to translate those experiences into innovative design solutions.

• Comfort and capacity to deal with uncertainty, and a sincere desire to collaboratively develop design solutions that are informed by diverse perspectives.

• Passion for growth and capacity to develop skills and approaches that address a wide array of complex design problems.

• Care and investment in mentorship and in cultivating a culture of support.

Additionally, applicants should possess a degree in Architecture and should be fluent in Revit, SketchUp, collaboration and virtual meeting tools such as Miro and Microsoft Teams, and Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator and Photoshop.
